Discovering aquarelles of Dusan Djukaric, serbian painter born in 1971, is a kind of delight that makes me think about simplicity of light, rain and water in a true different way. Dusan is a master watercolorist and one of my top favorites, especially in painting Belgrade and Venetian street motives. A touch of romance, carefully planned and nicely balanced tonal qualities, sfumato backgrounds and skipped unnecessary details (in the right places) – that all creates a magic for me. Yes! I’m very happy and proud to know Dusan personally: http://www.dusandjukaric.com/
